Stephen W. Stewart was born in Odessa, Texas on December 13, 1965. Stephen was raised in Kerrville, Texas, where his family was involved in ranching and agriculture. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1997. Mr. Stewart's preparatory education was at Texas Tech University where he obtained a B.B.A. in Finance in 1993. In 1997, Stephen graduated from law school at Texas Tech University School of Law, with honors, graduating in the prestigious Order of the Coif. Mr. Stewart is licensed in all courts in the State of Texas. Additionally, he is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.

For the preceding years in his legal career, Mr. Stewart has worked primarily as a trial lawyer representing major national and international businesses in civil litigation matters throughout the United States, where his practice included insurance defense; product liability defense of manufacturers of automobiles, aircraft, commercial vehicles, and construction / manufacturing equipment; catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death defense; as well as commercial litigation. Mr. Stewart has handled cases in both State and Federal Courts in Texas, in addition to multiple other States. Stephen's knowledge, skill, education, training, and experience, particularly that associated with his prior defense practice, make him uniquely qualified in being able to successfully prosecute the plaintiff cases that The Stewart Law Firm handles.

Stephen Stewart is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, in which membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Austin Bar Association.

Stephen and his wife, Ginger, have two children, Jackson and Jordan. Stephen and his family are actively involved in various community and charitable organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
